Considering I'm still a guest, as of this point, and I realize some of how Fellen comes off can (and is intended to) be dismissive, I thought an ooc area would be in line. I don't want to clutter an active RP thread with a bunch of ooc tripe, as to me that's as bad as filling a raid chat with nothing but ooc dren, so I figured this ooc thread would be a nice alternative and similar to an ooc chat channel. GRIM!  Just wanna let ya know brother, I'm not trying to ignore ya! But, as Grim noted in thread, "no tits"... and Fellen tends not to pay much attention to males. Until your last post Grim was really just another face in the crowd, one that hardly merited more than passing attention. I promise I'll make inclusion in my next post regarding your toon. ^_^ Btw... thank you for your service. I always make it a point to give my upmost respect to all servicemen and women. I wouldn't be in the place I am if not for the valor and dedication of citizens such as you. Again, sincerely, thank you. |

I fully intend for my next post to be something as short as "Fellen watches and grins." I know the ramifications of what is to come will take center stage and my toon is all about the watching and the waiting. Hell, if it seems to fit the flow ya'll could skip me totally and I wouldn't bat an eye. I am all about the story and I think the story just got way more interesting without my interjection.  Plenty of time for "me me me" after the dust settles, neh? Oh, for the record, yes, I'm in the south. Not from the south originally, I'm a NorCal native by birth... but I've been in North Carolina for the past decade and damn if the dialect doesn't work it's way into your mind. |

Thing is, the point of the whole post was for you you you!  To get your character interaction with the Cats. It is unfortunate Xrailax isn't likely able to post anytime soon, and i don't think it is the right atmosphere for Shari, but you've got three of them right there, and that's a good thing for what we wanted anyway. i know in RP things can take on a life of their own, as is happening, and i'm glad Fellen is getting a wonderful show LOL i just hate to think of you getting knuckled out of your own thread! Hopefully things will get back on track somewhat. Either way, i hope you are enjoying yourself as our guest here so far.  |

I started the thread, tis true, but I also then opened the floor to any other improvisational actor to join me on the stage. I'm Patton Oswalt and I just invited Robin Williams, Joy Behar, and Wanda Sykes to play in my playground. Good bloody luck trying to keep the spotlight in THAT kind of company. RP goes where it must and the story evolves around any player. Good players know when to let it go where it pulls. You can fight that stallion but it's easier to just let him run free for a time before trying to reign him in. Frankly, I loved being a GM far more than I ever enjoyed being a player. Getting to see player reactions when something went spectacularly right in a game session, or unbelievably wrong, was a reward that I never got as a player. It's why I loved my NPC's as they were my eyes into the fantasy world and my principle agents toward giving my players those rare moments of profound pleasure. So yes, I am enjoying my time thus far. In fact I've told my wife about this resource and gave her the link to the site. I wouldn't invite the mother of my child to such a place unless I truly felt it was worth investigating. I would offer that we wrap the thread up at some opportune point in the near future. Fellen and Karrii are continuing their relationship in another thread... perhaps Kat and Fellen can do the same? I'll get through the entourage one way or another. |
