Kneeling, his head bowed low, the fiery red haired rogue spoke nay a word as he felt the eyes of the great Bronze drakes on him, not the least of which, belonged to the great aspect Nozdormu. The great Timeless One roared before it's voice filled the halls of the Cavern's of Time. He did not flinch, nor did his composure change, he had known this would be coming.
"Mortal, hear me! You have agreed to the task layed before you by our Queen, Alexstraza. You have been told the cost of this upon you, and you have accepted. Are you prepared for this mortal? Once it is done, there is no turning back. But know this! Should you betray our sacred pact..my drakes will find you, and end your gift. Are we clear?"
The rogue merely nodded, saying nothing openly. He had spent a lifetime earning the respect of the Flight's, and now that he had, it was time to do his part in paying them back for the many instances they had saved humans. As the white lightning arced out from the great Aspect and slammed into the rogue, he gritted teeth, every muscle growing taught. He shuddered finally as it ended, nearly collapsing.
With a start, he awoke from his restless dreams. The rogue sat up, wiping a hand over his youthfull, handsome face, fingers stroking his goatee. His nude form rising from bed to move to the nearby window of his home as he looked out over a city below. He needed to get ready soon, he had students to teach. Glancing down at the tattoo'd knuckles of his hands he smiled faintly. He also had a purpose, an oath to serve. He laughed finally, stepping away from the window and heading to get dressed. Of course, he needed to play the crazy old man today. People always opened up around the crazy ones. After all, they were harmless..
