((This is only an outline of Sparks' history. I hope to post some stories when I have time to put them on paper. Hope you enjoy this glimpse.))
Young Years
Born Sath’Reion Thal’kae nearing one hundred years ago now. He was the youngest of five children (three males, two females). He was a surprise baby, his elder siblings were all well into training and becoming members of society before he sprang up. His childhood was nothing out of the ordinary. Sparks began to train as a mage when he came of age following the path of his eldest brother Keth’Leon, who helped in his training when Keth was around though this became less and less as both grew older. Sath’Reion made it quite a ways into his training and was very promising with his abilities to control the energies with which he wielded.
Years of Sereia
Sparks’ eventually began to go adventuring more and more as most beings do as they search for freedom from the family. During his adventures he ran into another Sin’Dorei named Sereie. She was similar in age and training to him though she followed the path of a Paladin. They began to adventure together both loving the thrill of it. After a few years they eventually started to date outside of just adventuring which lead to them becoming a couple of course. They spent around fifteen years as a passionate couple and many including their families believed they would eventually get married. One adventure ruined all that when Sparks and Sereia took on a group of enemies too strong for them. They battled hard taking down a few but eventually Sparks under the affects of a fear spell ran off stopping himself just before going off a cliff. The rain from the day before had made the ground wet which caused it to give way to his weight and he fell to the water below. By the time he got back up Sereia lay lifeless on the ground and the enemies had dispersed.
Sereia’s death took its toll on Sath’Reion who was emotionally devastated even quitting adventuring and training for quite a few years. He thought her death was his fault and that he had been too weak to protect her. Neither her family nor his held her death against him and had tried to convince him that things of this nature happen when adventuring. The words fell on deaf ears, for he cared little what they thought. He had let her die because he was not strong enough to protect her.
Return to Training
After many years of depression and self induced solitude Sparks decided to return to training. With much anger and hatred within his heart he went back to his former mentor. Instead of asking to return to train under him Sath’Reion yelled at his mentor stating the magic with which he was trained had not been strong enough and there for he was leaving the path to follow another he had seen. Sparks walked away from his former mentor and the path of the mage to take up the darker and what he considered more powerful art of the Warlock.
Sparks’ family had heard about his change and went to talk with him. They disapproved of his new chosen path stating that it was a dishonorable and evil art for which only freaks followed. Once again their words fell on deaf ears, Sparks walked away only stating he would not change his mind. His family said never to return for they no longer cared for him and to them he was dead. Even this did not stop him for he had already begun his training and had tasted the power with which Warlocks controlled. He was tainted by the magic and the power. He would never lose one he cared for because he was too weak again.
Recent History
Sath’Reion continued down the path of the warlock never looking back and moving to a new city Orgrimmar. He has spent many years within and around his new home having not found friends and lacking a family any longer he concentrated even more on training. He had left it all behind to grow strong and be able to protect those he cared for though in the process he had given them all up. So here he stands awaiting someone to notice him for the asset he is. Just as the fire he loves and wielded as a mage and now as warlock. He just needs a spark to ignite him and allow him to burn bright and strong for something or someone.
