Leisurely the Ren'dorei woman made her way through the cobblestone streets of Stormwind's canals, though she had no real destination in mind. It seemed like ages had passed since she last stalked these streets, the familiar presence of her now adolescent nightsaber, Tha'ali, a comfort, even if he was now large enough for her to ride. Stopping, she reached out a hand to gently scratch behind Tha'ali's ear. His fur was softer than usual, the grim that had collected washed away before their return to Stormwind. Sighing deeply she leaned against the saber's shoulder, her arm draping over his neck casually and her head resting on top of his. "To think when I adopted you, you were only the size of a little house cat." Her hand ruffled the fur on his side gently, her words met with the deep rumble of his purr. With a squeeze she released him from her grasp, straightening herself and glancing down at the casual clothing she wore once again. Her top a deep hue of violet detailed with richly elegant touches of golden embroidery. Her pants and shoes were both a matching black, the cloth soft against her skin as she began walking along the path again. At her hip rest the usual satchel filled with miscellaneous items, most treasured among those items was the small black tome she carried more frequently. Having thought it lost in previous adventures it was a queer surprise to find it resting on her nightstand when she returned home.
Her footsteps carried her familarily toward the Old Town, her usual haunt of the Pig and Whistle within eyesight now as she rounded the corner. Tha'ali close to her heel the large saber was accustomed to following the Ren'dorei woman wherever she went when they were together, but things had changed as he grew older and much larger. The nightsaber moving ahead of her now and finding a comfortable place along the side of the taverns entrance to lay down. Gradually she made her way past the saber's resting spot alongside the path and tavern, moving up the small staircase that led inside. Being only midday the bar was filled with a quiet murmur of various guest spread out along the bar and various tables of the establishment. Several stopped and looked at the violet hued woman curiously, others paid no attention to her as she made her way through the bar to where the barkeep was pouring drinks and serving the various patrons. "Red wine, the finest you have." She drew coins from her satchel and handed them to the barkeep as payment though she knew nothing this bar served would ever be as fine as the wine from her homeland. She watched as he took her coin, giving it a cursory glance for authenticity for a moment before reaching up into the dusty cabinets for the wine that seemed rarely purchased. He handed her the bottle and a glass, at which she nodded her thanks and took both toward the stairs that would lead her to the balcony. Slowly making her way up to a table she got settled, opening the bottle and pouring herself a glass. The wine swirled in the glass slowly, almost trancelike, as she rotated her hand and observed the red liquid before taking a slow sip and leaning back in her chair, aimlessly listening to the other patrons conversations around her.

*Grim had been drinking at the usual spot the table just under the staircase, He thought to himself "Every damn time someone walks up the stairs, I get extras in my drink, why do I sit here* His mechanical hand tapped the table. He chuckled to himself a bit. He placed the tankard to his lips and took a long pull on the alcohol that occupied the tankard but now no longer. He sucked his teeth, just as the Ren'dorei came strolling in. He tilted his head slightly as he watched as she strolled taking in her figure from head to toe. He smiled a bit, then the smile went away. "Them damn Ren'dorei so similar to the Sin'Dorei". He shook his head, blinking slightly as the woman ordered her drink.
"Red wine, the finest you have"
*In his ears the melodic sound of her voice drummed in his head, for some odd reason he had always found the elves attractive. He looked down at his tankard again, he motioned the bar wench over and placed another order. His eyes watched as the grape elf as Kat calls them made her way up the stairs. He was not sure what overcame him his curiosity of the Ren'Dorei since he has not really had the chance to truly speak with one. Or if it was the drink had taken hold of his mind, He slowly stood, took a new tankard from the girl. He began his accent up the stairs. His feet fell kind of heavy on the wooden planks. As he reached the top of the stairs, he could not help but look at the female again he smiled, nodded and spoke. He did not intend on speaking Thalassian, but the words bellowed out between his lips*
"Bal'a dash Malanore"

The creaking of the stairs captured her attention, turning her attention from the red liquid in her glass to the man who approached her. A smirk spread across her features at the familiar tongue he spoke in, coyly replying "Doral ana'diel?" her brow rose curiously, watching him for recognition of her words. She contuined to let her gaze wander over his figure, noting significant features. "What brings you to my table? Purple your favorite color? Or maybe you share a love for fine wine too and wished to share a glass, though I doubt that to be the case." Her words flowed smoothly from her lips, as she finished speaking she brought her glass up to her lips taking a slow sip of her wine, watching him.

(( "Purple your favorite color?" - Really loved that line, Zay. Would you mind increasing the size of your font? Some of us are either past 40 years old or months away. Small fonts make our eyes bleed . Do continue though!))

*His emerald eyes glanced of the features of her face as she spoke*
"Doral ana'deil"
*A boyish grin formed as he slowly breathed in some air, the hint of his ale and the sweet smell of the red wine that was on her table, he adjusted his tabard with his free hand and replied in common*
I fare well.
*He did a glance over the upper portion of the Pig as he rarely came up, he noted to any quick exits, then he shook his head "No need for battle tactics now" his inner voice told him"
I really do not know what drove me to come to your table. I do not think it is the wine could be I do like drink. I think it is I have had limited experience with the Ren'Dorei. I thi...I would like to know more about your people and as you can see I do speak Thalassian and would like to keep the practice up.
*He stands there just looking down at the female with a pleasant smile crossing his face at the moment*

(Oops sorry, I love times new roman, but it hates being normal size!)
Sipping her wine slowly she met his gaze unapologetically as his emerald hued eyes wandered to her face. Long, silken violet hair had shifted through the small course of their interaction, several strands falling from the safety of her ear. "A rare find, a human who speaks Thalassian. Though I do imagine your type will either become more common with my people's joining of the Alliance or our language will die slowly but surely." Her shoulders rising and falling in a small shrug as her free hand lifting to secure the stray violet strands once again behind her elongated ear, eying him curiously still. A cat with a new toy. "Fate of course. Fate drives us all to do things we have no explanation for, and the ale, fates helpful hand." She motioned to the chair that remained open across from her, "Well if you are going to carry on a conversation with me, you might as well make yourself comfortable. Or maybe you are one of those flighty types who can never relax?" Her brow rose curiously, a smirk painted across her dark lips as a soft chuckle escaped her lips with another sip of her wine. "First how about a name, it is rude to leave a woman without something to call her company by."

*watches as she toys with her lock of hair, pushing it behind her ears, he watches every movement of this female as if time itself had slowed to a near halt. His ears twitch every time words emit from her dark lips; the glow of her eyes recapture his own*
I do not think that your people will allow your native tongue to die out. As for my kind becoming more immerse in it that is a possibility. I would rather have thought it would be more prevalent as the Sin'Dorei were allies at one time but now with the Horde.
*He pauses for a moment as if intended to hold off on accepting her request to take the chair across from her, he grins was he slides the wooden chair out slowly descending as his ass cheeks meet the wood, he shifts getting more comfortable*
My name is Grim'Un Oakenbloom I dare not be rude to one as elegant as yourself
*He offers a quick smile before he speaks again*
Fate is an odd thing isn't it one may never know where one would end up.
*looks at his tankard*
And sometimes fate provides us the means to walk along the thin lines of destiny.
*Tilts his head slightly to the left, His emerald orbs flicker with a hint of mischief as his smile fades into a grin like the Cheshire cat he is*
I showed you my name, now it is time to show me yours?

Ashton Valkor made his way into the Pig and Whistle, his normal armor not adorning him this day, settling for a nice pair of black slacks and a flannel shirt with suspenders. Making his way over to the bar to pick up a tankard of ale, he turned around and scouted the area for anyone that may stand out.
Seeing two people he did not recognize speaking, he decided to not intrude on their conversation as he took a slow pull from his tankard, trying to relax after a long excursion during the day.

Violet and sapphire eyes glittered as she watched him, the corruption of her body wholly visible through her shimmering gaze. His eyes never leaving her, his attention acutely attuned to her motions and words as she spoke and she was dangerously aware of his peculiar interest in her. "No, I believe you are correct. My tongue would not be so easily forgotten, an ancient and native language to this world whereas your dialect is far younger, much more vulnerable." Her dark lips twisted into a smirk once again, her glass of wine idly held carefully between two fingers as she swirled the ruby liquid within the glass.
Patiently she wait for him to take a seat and make himself comfortable, "Grim'Un Oakenbloom..." She let his name linger in the air for a moment as she thoughtfully paused and looked across the table to him, taking another sip of her wine she answered his lingering question, "Zay." Another sip of the ruby liquid in her grasp interrupted her speech "Your name is particular, a human who speaks Thalassian and a name that is not common of your race either. Why is that? Where are you from? Or were you not raised by your own kind?" She watch him inquisitively, taking a moment to refine her glass of wine from the bottle that sat adjacent to her glass. Once finished she placed to cork back best she could and took a slow sip from her glass. "The threads of Fate, Destiny. Where does it lead us all? To an inevitable grave. I guess that is the fate waiting for us all eventually in the end, it is what we do before our true fate becomes a reality that matters more." A devious grin slipped across her features, leaning back in her chair and crossing her legs neatly one over the other, her free hand resting against her thigh.

Pleasure to make your acquaintance Zay
*He leaned forward slightly place his elbows on the table, As he looked deeply into her violet eyes. He had rarely seen eyes of that color he smiled as he begun to speak*
Well my first name is Grim my family name is actually Un.
The Oakenbloom comes from my former spouses family name.
*He pauses briefly as he looks into the tankard that is now half empty, His eyes looks as if he is remembering something dear to his past*
I hail from the mountains of Red-ridge but now anywhere I decide on laying down. Lately I have been laying my ass in the inn in Boralus. I kind of like that area the smell of the ocean is different there than in Stormwind. So how about you were do you originally come from?
*He brings the tankard back up to his lips, out from the corner of his eyes he looks down spying another soul enter the Pig, not recognizing the male he shifts his gaze back to Zay*

Her attention shifted from the man in front of her to movement near the entrance as another walked into the establishment. Returning her attention to Grim as he spoke the Ren'dorei woman kept the newcomer in the corner of her gaze from the balcony above. She remained casually leaned back in her seat, glass in hand, as he leaned forward- his gaze not faltering from her own though she remained curiously impassive. "Ah I see, from the name I would assume your former spouse Kaldorei? Though that does not explain the Thalassian still." Taking a slow sip from her glass with a soft chuckle. She watched as he looked to his depleting drink and something passed over his expression for a moment before fading away again.
Nodding briefly at his words she took a sip of her wine again before replying slowly, "Born and raised in Quel'thalas and now I maintain a residence here in Stormwind and another in Kun Lai Summit near the Pandaren Monastery. As of late though, due to my research and the war efforts, I have been dragged between Drustvar, Zandalar, and Arathai." Her eyes wandered back down to the lone man beneath them on the floor below still lingering near the bar for a moment before looking back to the man across from her.

*Keeping his eyes locked on hers after both noticed the other individual that had entered the Pig, He straightens up as the tankard still pressed against his lips he takes a long pull. As the pungent smell of stale alcohol fills his nostrils. He looks over the bannister breaking the gaze the two were locked in*
Barmaid another Ale
*Looks back to Zay*
Yes my former spouse was Kaldorei, but she disappeared just before the return of Deathwing. Those were troubling times for all, actually for a moment I thought this would bring a final peace between the Horde and Alliance. Wishful thinking I guess.
*Another mischievous flicker pass over his eyes, and a coy smile appears*
As for learning you language I had a Lov....
*He paused for a brief second then spoke again
Lets just say you learn a lot about a persons culture, and language when you end up sleeping with the enemy. I guess you can say I sort of have a thing for the elven races.
*He turns his head as he hears the barwench approaching*
Thank you darlin
*He takes the new tankard and places it on the table*
Is it common for you people to learn the language of the humans?

Setting himself into a chair, he leaned back slightly into it, rocking back and forth on two legs as he pulled deeply from his tankard. He overheard the conversation and knew it was bad manners to eavesdrop, so he simply decided to close his eyes and relax, attempting to block out the conversation. After finishing his tankard, he smiled as a barmaid strode by him, speaking up in a deep Kul'Tiran brogue.
"Another one, please madam."

Another ale, another glass of wine. She removed the cork from the bottle that sat beside her on the table, refilling her glass partially before placing the cork back in its place. She took a sip from the freshly poured ruby liquid, idly swirling the liquid in the glass as she spoke. "Peace? Between the Horde and the Alliance? I stopped believing that would happen centuries ago." She chuckled softly and shook her head, "The day there is no more war is the day we all lay in our graves, or simply lose the ability to control our own minds." She tapped her temple twice with her forefinger and middle finger, a smirk on her lips.
Nodding as he spoke, a brief acknowledgement that she had heard him as she listened silently. Her own mind wandering now as she stared at the swirling ruby liquid, her violet eyes unblinking. She remained silent as the barmaid returned with his new ale and slipped away once again to the other patrons requesting her assistance. Her smirked had faded into a thoughtful frown, her brow furrowed as she left the two in silence.
Blinking she looked back up at him, "The Pandaren spoke quite a bit of common and I picked up more than my martial arts skills from them." She took a long sip from her wine again, watching him.

Standing up and making his way to the bar again, he set his empty tankard down on the bar, smiling as he waited for another refill. He seemed like he was drinking a little more than a normal Human would, almost like he was celebrating by himself.
Going back to his table, the man sat back down as he pulled out a stack of papers from his bag, beginning to peruse them as he sipped his ale. The keenest of eye would see he was looking at maps of Northrend.

*Looking across the table as she spoke, he tilted his head to the left*
How long were you around the Pandarens, I quite enjoyed my time in that land.
*his mechanical hand tapping the handle of the tankard, as he spoke, he looked down again to see the Pig near empty a few more patrons had already vacated. His mind seemed to wonder before he brought his attention to the female sitting in front of him*
Where else have you traveled?

One by one the other patrons slowly began to filter from the bar, her gaze wandering over their figured as they paid their dues and wandered back out into the streets. "I spent quite a deal of time with the Pandaren, I enjoyed my time there as well. As for an exact number of years I could not tell you." She smirked and shook her head slowly, taking another sip of her wine. "I stopped counting the years long ago." She glanced down at his hand that rested against his tankard for a moment, curiosity striking her gaze, "I have been to a great deal of places, though not quite as many as some. Eastern and Western Plaguelands- both before and after their fall. They were once beautiful places, I even enjoyed the humans who lived there. Obviously I have visited the Pandaren lands and recently I have been to Kul Tiras and Zandalar. Name a place specifically and I can tell you if I have or have not been." She chuckled softly, quietly under her breath. "So what happened to your hand? If you do not mind my asking."

*Looks down at the mechanical monstrosity that is what he calls a hand, He looks at the tankard then to the lady that sits across from him, He blinks it must of been his drunken state but his emerald orbs move slowly down to her chest area. He quickly adverts his eyes to meet her staring back at her, he swallows a little as he begins to speak*
That one would say was a stupid action upon my part, but those types of stories are for those who are more intimately connected
*He chuckles a little bit, he takes a few breathes as he recomposes his self*
You are not you a typical elf now are you? Especially meaning of the Sin'dorei, Ren'dorei heritage.
*His eyes trace down her face, over her full purple hued lips, the light purple skin of her neck and lay rest for a mere second or two on her hefty bussom, then move back to meet her eyes. I devilish grin creeps across his face*

Violet and sapphire eyes watched as his gaze wandered from her face downward, though her composure remained unchanged as she kept an even gaze on him. Blinking slowly she took another sip of her wine and remained silent as he spoke, her gaze wandering back to his hand for a moment. "Stories of stupidity and the results of them were classic bar tales I thought?" She smirked and chuckled softly beneath her breath, "Tales of near death and valor, or just sheer dumb luck." Her shoulders slowly rose and fell back to their normal position, moving past the subject now.
Finishing her glass of wine she pushed the empty bottle and glass off to the side of the table, her arms crossing against her chest as she leaned back in her chair and flipped her hair over he shoulder. "Typical elf? I am not sure I know what you mean by that." She paused for a moment and her lips pursed into a thin line thoughtfully, "I have never been a typical kind of woman, though I guess it depends on what you view as typical." She chuckled and shook her head slowly, "My entire family has always been rather peculiar in our practices and mannerisms." She waved her hand dismissively at the topic though, "So what is it do you for a living Grim? You seem to wear the colors of some affiliation, or did the design just strike your fancy?"

*Looks down at his tabard, then back to meet her exotic colored eyes*
This is the colors of the gang I belong to. We dub ourselves the Cheshire Cats.
*Taps the tankard softly as he speaks*
I for what I do I swing big swords into the face of the enemy, I dabble in this and that. Just recently learned how to engineer like them little ass gnomes.
*His eyes dart back and forth from her lips and eyes*
How about you. I know you have something to do with that void energy dealings. I am not to keen on all that
