When a Dungeon is Bugging How to Get Out

Last night i had a rather unique experience.

Was in a mythic that was bugging out all over the place.  Then, to add to it all, Pride spawned RIGHT on top of where you respawn.

i was the only person left.  i can't say 'in the group' as anyone in the original group had disbanded and left me entirely alone.

Any time i tried to release, Pride took me down in two or three hits, so i couldn't even inch my way toward the dungeons zone out guy, because i'd have to release after dying which placed me right back on Pride's toes.  Er... well.  it doesn't have toes, so... let's just pretend, k?

Tried logging in and out a few times, tried getting onto an alt, didn't help.

i did know if you're logged out for a certain amount of time, that you spawn at the mouth of a dungeon, but HOW LONG it needed to be was unknown at the time.

So, i am sharing my experience here in case it ever happens to you!

It takes 30 MINUTES (i found out AFTER the fact) to be logged out for a dungeon to spit you back to the mouth when you log back in. (i didnt have that long anyway to wait....as impatient as i am, imagine that.)

What worked for me, was in the few seconds i was alive, to cue for a random battleground.  Who  knew i'd be THAT desperate to cue for- and get into one of those things eh?

Luckily, the wait time was only about three minutes.  There i was, still dead when the 'enter battleground' alert came up.  So my dead ass accepted and low and behold i was brought back to life and in another zone.

i then hearthed out ASAP, and was safe!
