Greetings to one and all. I am guild mistress of the Cheshire Cats. My core purpose for making this board, to promote and encourage role-play in all forms. And to provide a place where people can post and know it's not going to be buried with pvp nonsense.

• To use this board, you do not have to be a member of the Cheshire Cats, nor do you have to be registered on this site.
  
  
• Please include a link to your characters description whenever posting in a thread for the first time.
  
  
• You can role-play with whoever you like. You don't have to role-play with a Cat here. Bring stories from the main SoE site (Or your server site) and carry them on here, or start your own.- Even bring friends over with you to have relaxing RP right here away from the hustle and bustle of the main forum site. If you want to call out a specific Cat to rp with, put their name in the title.
  
  
• Doesn't matter what server you are from, you are welcome here too!
  
  
• If you use this board, you are not expected to join the Cheshire Cats. (Though you're more then welcome to look around while here and if you like what you see, weeeeelll...)
  
  
• Please be mature and respectful when posting. (Non RP Flame replies will be removed)
  
  
• You are in control of your own character. The moderators of this board will not be playing baby sitter over your characters lives.
  
  
• This is a heavy role-play site. Don't be shy to post a lot of detail in each post. (Lengths of stories will not be edited- feel free to post as much as you like!) If you want others to join in, set the scene.
  
  - Time of day
  - Location for example.
  
  
• Please try to keep role-play here at least with a PG-13 rating as high as R. Nothing NC-17. Be aware if a thread begins to get too sexually graphic, it will be locked- and or removed/ edited for content. (You can take super erotic role play to email or MSN however )
  
  
• All posts are considered OPEN, unless labeled as CLOSED. If a thread is labeled Closed, that means it is a private role play between some people. Please respect that and do not post there unless you are one of those people the poster has asked to join them.
  
  
• Have fun! That's the main point, and goal. If something happens here and you would like to try and arrange a cross-faction event, let the Cats know. We'll do what we can to help.
  
  
• Any questions, comments or concerns, please post them in either the Questions and Answers area or our Ideas and Suggestions section.

PS: Please remember when posting, if it is an open RP thread where you want people to jump in and play with you, be sure to leave it open at the end. Some posts i've found are not open ended and leave no real room for people to easily meld into the story.

If no one has replied to your post, it's probably confusing to people and they are not sure how to join.

Another important thing to note. A thread cannot be used as in game information until said thread is closed.

An open, active thread are events happening in their own time line. When the thread ends, only then is that time line inserted into the 'present' time line in game.

Example: Say your character is involved in a bar scene with another. When it ends that bar scene has just played out in your characters immediate time line as a 'last night' thing or whatever is applicable.
