"Blasted women nd her stubbornness will be the death of her...." The Draenei grumbled in his people's tongue as he spoke to his steed while brushing the big horse with a bit of fresh growing grass. The horse meerly looked to it's master with it's large brown eyes and went back to chewing at the ground with little interest in the Draenei's words. A long sad sigh escaped the Amboro as he looked to the lake through the trees of the forest. After he had waited at the tunnel for them to be far enough away again he followed their tracks to the loch. Seeing there's go up hill around the lake the Paladin took the old cart trail down through the woods.
Stretching his back slowly, small pops and cracks sounding as he did, he decided it was time to set camp once more for the night. His steed's armor was already taken care of and his coat clean and rubbed down. Which left Amboro to take off his own armor. Kneeling down by the small hidden fire place dug into the ground the Paladin removed his plate gauntlets with his bracers. Working a bare hand underneath his shoulder pads he undid the straps and buckles that held them in place letting them fall to the ground with a muted thud on the soft grass.Pulling his chest piece up and off of him he laid it where his shoulder and gloves laid and removed his boots and undid the buckles that held the plated pants together.
Once striped down to his small wear Amboro sighed gently feeling the cool breeze brush against his large chest and broad shoulders. "I will be at the lake..." Amboro told his mount as he received a snort in reply. As soon as he made the clearing he saw the blurring object fall from the far up cliff. Blinking slowly he saw the tiger and then the nude figure of Blaze on his back. This time their encounter was no his fault.

Rook had a small fire going in moments, and went about setting out his implements. The draught he was going to prepare was two-thirds completed already, he had only to add a catalyst and heat it for a moment to start the reaction that would unlock the mixture's healing properties. He added the finely mixed powder into the vial and swirled it, peering into the liquid as it tiny flecks began to glow in it. He thrust the stoppered bottle into the small fire, turning it every few seconds like an egg. Gradually the mix began to turn from a murky brown to a brilliant red.
He turned and rummaged in this bag for the other things he needed. Glancing up he raised an eyebrow at Blaze's nude form at the edge of the bluff. Looking into the fire as he'd been, he couldn't make out much detail, but her outline was clear and her curves glowed with reflected firelight.
Night elves weren't a people who had much interest in privacy (or even walls in general.. they existed mostly to keep buildings up, not create pockets of isolation.) so he was no stranger to the female body in it's many configurations. Still, he took a moment away from his task to admire the huntress' lithe form. She had a lot of mass for someone who supposedly lived or died on speed and movement, like he did. But at the same time she seemed balanced, somehow...
He shrugged and went back to his task, pulling the now-potent healing potion out of the fire and rolling it in the grass for a moment to cool it.
Next he found a small black vial amongst his belongings and laid it out. A powerful anesthetic he sometimes put on his blades. With a steady hand and enough of a distraction it was possible to bleed a person entirely out before they realized they'd been cut. There was a mildly poisonous effect as well, but it could be neutralized by mixing it with some of the other herbs he had on him. Which he did, shaking the bottle rapidly.
He heard a splash and looked up rapidly to see Blaze and her tiger gone. He was halfway to his feed before he realized that if she had fallen he would have a heard a crunch rather than a splash. She must have jumped, and presumably made it.. He listened carefully for any sounds of distress but heard none, so he went back to his work.
He laid out one last of his potions for the night, a simple antivenom, just in case the arrow had been poisoned after all. He didn't think so, but better to be safe than dead. Which reminded him.. He reached into his saddlebag and drew out the arrow in question, which he'd snatched from the road. He laid it out next to the other things.
Last came some food from his saddlebag. Hardtack, tough, dry chunks of bread eaten by sailors at sea. He frowned. Hardly appetizing, but better than nothing.
He gathered the things in his arms and trod out the fire. Heading to the edge he nimbly picked his way down the path. Peering around for Blaze in water, he sat crosslegged and set his things out at the edge of the shore.
"Dinner service for you, Starshine," he said. "Tonight we have a three course meal of antivenom and healing potion, followed up with some sailor's bread. With Painkiller as side garnish. I suggest you take the antivenom first, it tastes horrible."

He didn't see Blaze in the lake, but Mushal's large form dog-paddling around was unmistakable. He was on his way back to shore when he saw Rook. Mushal tried to growl but ended up choking on some water instead. When he pulled himself out, the animal sat a couple feet from Rook and went about trying to dry himself off by licking himself dry, a task which would take hours. Once and awhile he cast a wary eye out into the lake, then to Rook, before resuming his task.
A minute or so later Blaze poked her head above the water with a large smile on her face. She hadn't heard a word of what Rook had said, and hadn't even realized he was there yet. Without looking she threw a long stick toward the shore. "Look out!" she screamed seeing Rooks outline at the last minute. The spear landed as close to Rook as possible without actually harming him. Stuck on the stick were three decent sized loch trout.
Blazes laughter was heard mixed with the sound of her swimming back in. When she reached shore she tried to stand and forgot about her leg causing her to fall backward into the water again with a loud splash. With a grunt she pulled herself back out and limped over to Rook peering at what he had brought. With a shrug she sat down good knee bent carefully so that her rear end was on her foot, protecting her private areas from too much sand. Her bad leg was straight out in front of her.
She pointed at her fish, "Good eats."

Amboro could feel the heat rushing to his cold face as he watched Blaze emerged from the water. The paladin also wished that the spear was tossed a bit stronger to see it impaled inside Rook's throat was a satisfying amount of dieing gurgles. But he reminded himself who he was. Growling angrily to himself he turned back into eh woods trying to make as little noise as possible.
but that was all ruined when his own mount came rushing out of the woods and splashed into the lake noisily splashing about and making as much noise as it could trying to bait it's master into playing with it. The horse felt it's owner's feelings and had decided to cheer him up but only at the wrong time. "No blast you!" He cursed angrily to himself looking to the playful horse. Amboro knew it would be recognized right away by it's size.

"Look out!"
"Hm?" Rook looked up instinctively to the clifftop, thinking someone had come up behind him. Seeing nothing he turned back with a question on his lips, noticing at the last moment the blur against the stars that was the flying spear. He hissed and rolled sharply over, the spear still coming close enough that he felt the sand tossed against his back when it thudded solidly into the beach. He looked at the stick with it's cargo of fish for a moment, bemused, while his heartbeat returned to normal.
Once she was ashore he almost shot to his feet again when she wobbled and fell back into the water. But she resurfaced immediately and despite the bobble she was probably fine, so he waited patiently till she was seated near him.
"Good eats."
He nodded, his mouth already watering. He picked up the tough bit of hardtack and tossed in into the water. "Well you won't be needing that, then. " He smiled over at her.
"The other things I'd appreciate if you'd take, though." He set the potions in the sand between them and indicated the red one. "This one at least, or tomorrow is going to be very hard. The one next to it will dispel any poisons and prevent an infection. And this," he held up the black bottle of neutralized anesthetic, "Will cut the pain. Don't drink it or you won't be able to talk for days. It's to be applied externally. I'd be happy to take care of that for you if I thought I could do so without getting my arm torn off by your fuzzy playmate ther-"
His attention was drawn off abruptly by the sudden appearance of a horse in the lake some distance away.
"Oh, what in nine hells..."

She had each bottle to her lips to drink as he explained them one by one. The black bottle was on her way to her lips then.
"Don't drink it or you won't be able to talk for days. It's to be applied externally."
She coughed and nodded absently, handing it back to him, the taste of the other two potions still mingling on her tongue. Nodding to her wound she shrugged, "Mushal won't touch you." The tiger was laying a couple feet away now, still grooming. She took his wrist that held the potion and pulled it toward her thigh. Her expression was playful.
The sudden splashing caused her head to whip around and Mushal to stand alert with a snarl on his lips. Blaze groaned and sighed facing forward again. "Creature not disappear." She tapped her leg and looked at him expectantly, already trying to forget about the intruder off in the distance.

Rook nodded, smiling tersely. Taking Blaze's lead he shifted his attentions back to her leg, but kept an ear focused on the noise in the water all the same.
He dipped a finger into the vial and it came back coated with a layer of oily fluid, clear but slightly greenish in tint.
"This may hurt for a moment, but it should numb up quickly."
He gingerly touched his coated finger to the mouth of the wound, gently smearing some of the anesthetic around the edges and letting it drip in. He glanced anxiously at Blaze to make sure she wasn't in any distress, then put his hand over the wound and began massaging her leg gently. Since it was a puncture, and a deep one at that, the numbness would have to extend down the length of the wound to really be effective. And do do that it would have to be worked in.
He lifted his hand and dribbled more of the painkiller on his fingers and repeated the process. The massaging part required more force than normal, given her toned and muscely thigh. He wondered idly what it must have taken to build up that sort of strength. His eyes drifted up her body, over her abdomen and torso and down her arms. Whatever it was it had certainly left her with some impressive attributes. Not necessarily attractive in a traditional feminine sense, but there was a definite athletic, rough-and-tumble appeal...
That thought led to another in which his very close proximity to the naked huntress figured very prominently. With it came a very familiar urge. He exhaled sharply through his nose and tried to concentrate on his task. The part where his task was rubbing her oiled thigh wasn't reallly helping, though.
It was a common trick of female rogues and (even some warriors, mages, warlocks...) to use their bodies to distract or subvert opponents or potential targets. He played the same game, after his own fashion, and it was one of the many many things he had been rigorously trained to ignore when he encountered it. It had served well to get him this far, but he was about at his limit. He cleared his throat.
"Blaze," he said quietly, letting his hand stop. "I'm trying quite hard to be a gentleman at the moment... And if you want me to stay that way, you'd should probably finish doing this yourself."

Mushal had been watching Rook, and the horse in the distance. Soon as Rook moved closer to Blaze however he uttered a low growling snort and began to advance over with his head hung low, shoulders rolling purposefully as he walked. Blaze had been ready for this it seemed. She held up a hand and narrowed her eyes. The tiger and huntress stared at each other a long moment, even as Rook began to apply the dressing. Finally the tiger relented and laid down, yawning wide in protest and challenge should the rogue look over.
Blaze grunted lowly and put her attention back on what was happening. In the back of her mind she hoped the draenei came over. She had seen how the creature looked at her, and catching her now with this males hand massaging her thigh would send another clear message she did not want his attentions.
Her eyes closed and her forehead wrinkled in pain before the numbness began to settle in. As it did, her forehead uncreased and she exhaled slowly. She watched Rook through her slitted eyes and admired how his hands worked. They were capable and he seemed to know what he was doing. She didn't miss his eyes traveling over her body either, nor the sharp exhale or the subtle scent that caused her nostrils to twitch.
A low growl rumbled in her throat and she arched her back slightly toward him.
"I'm trying quite hard to be a gentleman at the moment... And if you want me to stay that way, you'd should probably finish doing this yourself."
Right now she didn't want a gentleman. Mushal uttered a plaintive mewl and clawed at the ground though did not move any further. Right now, quests, or enemies didn't matter either. She nodded back to her leg and raised a brow before her lips parted and she watched him intently.

Her arched back and growl was all he needed. He slid closer to her and let his hand move a few inches further up her thigh. He smiled and murmured lowly, their lips almost touching as his other hand rose to caress the back of her neck. "Fair enough, then," he breathed. "I was almost finished anyway."
His hand moved on from her thigh and came to rest on the swell of her hip. He'd have to be careful what he did with the coated fingers, a lot of fun could be spoiled that way...
"The salve won't wash off, by the way." He caught her lower lip gently and playfully between his teeth for a moment before releasing it again, still staying very close, their lips now brushing slightly together. "So we can go in the water."
He drew back a few inches, golden eyes glimmering mischeviously in the dark. "It's a lot less... sandy, there."

Blaze narrowed her eyes and bit at his chin, then along his jaw. "No more talk." She was impressed he knew the subtle signals, she had met some druids before who didn't. That had lead to a very disappointing lonely night.
Right now she didn't care where she went, her need was evident. With her leg now numb the pain was forgotten. She pressed closer, her nose running along his neck carefully inhaling his scent checking how interested he was, and if there was a scent of another woman. (If there is she would back off.) As she pressed closer she uncoiled her leg from underneath herself and got on her hands and knees, one hand getting lost in his hair near where the tie was.

"Fierce thing," he said with a happy smile as she nipped at his jaw. But he said no more after that. He scratched her down the back as she nuzzled at his neck, and took hold of her firm posterior. He smelled of leather, a little of sweat, of road dust, of the herbs and alchemical odds and ends he handled. The faintest, tangy trace of the sea clung to him as well, in his hair. But nowhere was there a whiff of perfume or any trace of any other. This close to his neck she could hear his pulse, which beat fast and strong. He sighed low and leaned back against the sand of the beach, looking up into her glowing eyes as he pulled her down to him. ((Yeah, we really shouldn't let things get too much out of the PG13 range here (failed already) but I'm happy to continue in-game or over email or whatever. Email might be best considering my game time is usually a bit unpredictable. If you don't mind making a trash alt on SoE, you can send me your email addy via an OOC in-game mail in the off chance you dont feel like sharing it with everyone here. Send to Jahai on Sisters of Elune, if that's what you decide to do. I figure in the meantime we can just Fade To Black on this and cut to the next nonadult section. >.> ))

Blaze grinned her glowing eyes bright upon his face. Good smells. Strong smells. Again Mushal let out a plaintive yowl of a jealous, upset animal and Blaze glared at him then uttered a few hushed words and Mushal was sent back to the Astral Plane where he could romp and play and not watch or pose any possible danger.
Looking back to Rook she licked at his cheek, and peered down at him on his back like a puppy submitting. She laughed and shook her head. Oh no, she couldn't have that. She didn't like puppies. With a playful snarl Blaze kissed him hard then jumped back away from him and clambered to a standing position. With her leg numb it was an odd sensation to stand and she found that as she turned on the elf and began to run away she sort of hobbled in the beginning only to adapt and run at a lopping pace, stopping again once a couple feet away to leg lunge to the side hands planted in the ground watching him.
Nothing got the heart racing like a little animalistic fore-play. She watched wolves do it often, sometimes tigers did as well. In the back of her mind she had to keep reminding herself this Rook was probably too tame to follow half of what she was doing, but she would try and see. He did want her, she could tell that.

Rool smiled and sighed and rolled his eyes behind closed lids as she hopped away from him and headed off down the beach. He should have seen that one coming. She wanted to play. He opened his eyes ran his tongue across his upper lip, still stinging from her kiss. That was fine, he liked to play too.
He curled, rolling over his own shoulder to gain his feet, and stood. He frowned slightly at her limp, but she could take care of herself, he figured. By morning the wound should be mostly closed and healed anyway.
When she looked back at him he smiled at her and disappeared, fading to translucency against the backdrop of the shore and lake, golden eyes the last part to go.
He reappeared at her side a few moments later, wrapping his arms around her waist and sinking his teeth playfully into her neck. His top had disappeared somewhere in transit, and now lay on the sand a few feet away. His skin was warm where it met hers and he held her firmly, but not so tight that she couldn't wriggle away again if she wanted.

Blaze was really not used to rogues at all! Although this was not too different from having a druid slink behind her and appear with two large paws over her shoulders. She looked at the hands around her waist and clapped hers over them. When he bit her neck she uttered a welcoming growl and pressed her rear into him again in invitation.
((I guess now is a good time to fade? I don't want to forget about Amboro. Sorry Amboro! I think here is where you have to use your imagination for what he is seeing!))

Afterward, he lay on his back on a pile of his discarded gear and looked at the stars. He sighed, pleasantly exhausted in a way he hadn't been for some time. Out of the corner of his eye he stole a look at the Huntress beside him.
Well, this certainly put an interesting spin on things. He wondered how it would affect what was to come... Perhaps not much at all, he mused. It seemed like their closeness this night was as much a matter of convenience as anything else. Still.. He smiled. It was nice enough, for what it was.
He sat up. There was still much to do. Neva had to be unsaddled and fed, and he had to organize his things... Most of all, perhaps, he needed rest for tomorrow. It promised to be a long and interesting day.
He leaned over to kiss Blaze's cheek fiercely then stood and stretched, tattooed arms rising over his head. The shimmering surface of the lake winked at him invitingly, and he paused. ...Maybe he had a bit of time before his chores, yet...
He strode forward into the loch and pushed off when the waters reached his waist, gliding silently underwater and letting the cool waters dissipate what was left of the heat in him.
He surfaced a few yards from shore and floated on his back. It was a remarkably clear night and the wide open sky stretched out above him, silver with starlight. You didn't get to see these kinds of skies in foggy port towns like Menethil, or dirty cities like Stormwind. He hadn't realized how much he'd missed them. The reminded him of the sky in Teldrassil, and in older, more revered places, ones that couldn't be returned to.

((OKay then I got to get angry and do something stupid and drastic! Oh Rook is so about to get hurt! And thank you for slowing down a bit to let me try to catch up!))
Amboro was left alone to his rage at what he had seen. Rage that kept building that not even repeating his vows to the Naaru could save him. The large furious Draenei stomped loudly around his hidden camp fire as he talked to himself out loud to try and figure out what he was going to do to the Elf. the main argument was how he was going to kill Rook, would he drown the poor bastard in the lake? No, he would be getting out to easily with that... Maybe simply chop him into small pieces and then feed them to the tiger? No too messy and he didn't want to give the beast stomach aches form eating the filth. What about wringing the life out of him by that scrawny neck of his? Yes that was more discreet and Amboro would have th pleasure of seeing the dieing face of the Rogue. Yes that was what he would do!
Snorting loudly he looked to his steed, already brushed and armored glittering in the small light of the fire. Amboro's own armor had done the same as he paced back and forth around the fire. The Draenei would have came out and chopped the Elf's manhood of sooner if him and Blaze weren't interlocked so. Remembering those images only let his temper flare up further as he kicked a mountain of dirt into his fire and went right to the saddle pulling uo his wicked axe from his back.
Turning the armored steed he rushed the lake in a trample of hoof beats as he reached lake side and saw his foe floating aimlessly in the water. "ROOK!" The Paladin bellowed as he raced his horse into the water. Carefully Amboro removed his own hoofs from the stir-ups and climbed so that he was standing on top of the saddle. The horse underneath him raced faster into the water till they were in jumping range.
Pushing off with great strength from his saddle Amboro landed onto of the Rogue and placed and iron gripped hand around his neck as the other sheathed the deadly axe on his back. Once that hand was free it too clamped around Rook's neck trying to squeeze the life out of him. "Prepare to die!" He bellowed down at the Elf. This time Amboro had the advantage since he had none of his equipment. "I am going to strangle the life out of you for what you did!" The usually calm Draenei cried anger and hatred unlike any seen before from the Paladin filled his good eye as his grip seemed to tighten even more.

Afterward also, Blaze lay like a contented kitten curled up next to Rook, her body exhibiting the pleasant afterglow of their events. It had been awhile for her too, at least a couple days, and to be rid of that kind of frustration was quite liberating for her. There was only so much a tiger could help alleviate after all.
When Rook sat up she stirred and stretched languidly licking her lips. She watched him with hooded eyes and a faint smile. He wasn't bad at all for a rogue, quite limber and strong. Still not a druid, but not overly disappointing either. Nodding to herself she decided she may use him again before their journey together was over. When he kissed her cheek she snickered and growled in her throat inviting another go.
The rogue strode off though to the lake leaving her to watch after him. She shrugged and stood carefully, only favoring her leg a little bit. It was healing already very well.
With a grin she picked up his clothing and carried it back up the narrow footpath to dump by the rest of his items. Who knew, seeing a naked wet male stalking up the hill may arouse more interest.
A good bit later Blaze was dressed in a pair of brown leather pants and a dusty white cotton vest with three copper buttons down the front. She was tending to her armor, and repairing the hole in her mail pants when she heard the yell.
"ROOK!"
That Draenei was back, and very upset from the sound of his tone. Why? Her mouth formed a perfect 'O' and she jumped up wincing only slightly as she hurried to the ledge, to look down into the lake. It was not overly easy to see what exactly was happening, so she began her journey back down the path, decidedly sure that no matter what was happening the rogue could take care of himself. She just wanted a show. And in the off chance he couldn't take care of himself...of course she would help. She had her father to look after, after all.

((Please check the @ Amboro thread in the OOC section, thanks much. ^^))
Rook's eyes slitted and he snarled as the hands closed around his neck, thrashing wildly in the water.
"If you kill me..." He choked out in Common, fighting to get his hands under the Draenei's, "Blaze's... Father will die."
Not trusting his words to get through to the Paladin, he lashed out savagely with his foot, aiming his heel at the Dranei's nose, at the same time twisting and writhing to get free, hoping the shock of the kick would loosen the deadly grip some.

The heel connected to his nose as a small path of blood started to flow down his upper lip, the fire on his eyes only glowed brighter as the paladin tried to keep Rook in his vice like grip. "Lies!" He yelled at the Night Elf in his hands, "I could simply cure him myself and be rid of you just as easy!" Amboro stated. He was a Paladin he could just as easily heal someone as well as kill them, and the later seemed like a very appealing offer. "Now give me a real reason why I should spare your filthy life Rogue!?"
Slowly his tongue ran around the rim of lips taking in the blood with a sick liking to the taste of it.
