Blaze sat quiet on the balcony of her private room on the giant stalk of Telredor. It was raining softly as usual, and if she looked a little into the distance she could see the hut of the naga leader Rajis Fyashe. Mushal yawned and looked around balefully, very tired. His mistress was not sleeping so well at night and as result neither was he. He could smell tension on her and it dripped off her with every breath she took. Chuffing softly Mushal ran a rough tongue along her cheek making her wince and laugh weakly pushing his big head away. She was laying against his side like she normally did using him for backrest.
Blaze chuffed back and gripped the scruff of his neck where the many folds of loose skin were and shook gently yet firmly. She would be okay. She had faith Elune wouldn't throw anything at her she couldn't handle. But she was having doubts when it came to the rogue Rook. He did not seem to understand or share her upset attitude to seeing the high elf standing on the docks of Darkshore. It made her wonder what other feelings had might have compared to hers. They had never talked about such things, and she usually prefer not to talk whenever possible anyway.
Shifting against Mushal uneasily she sighed and closed her eyes. It was hard for her, very hard to change her routine of things she was used to. It had been very hard to join Rook finding a hiding place for his idol, and felt nervous and out of place. Of course she enjoyed her time with him, but still the nagging feelings of bother of not knowing what she was doing or going to be doing irked her. His reaction to her reaction about the high elf irked her too. How did he feel about humans? Didn't he see the Kaldorei as the supreme race? It was almost unbelievable to her that a night elf couldn't feel that.
She had been spacing out the time she saw him. The mark he had made on her neck was almost gone by now leaving only the memory of it in her mind. She no longer felt like hunting out other males anymore to see to her needs, just him. That was part of her routine too he destroyed. Her Code, in tiny pieces. Blaze whimpered making Mushal look at her with concern. He made a ureemm noise in his throat and she smiled and nuzzled in closer to his warmth. It was damp and she was starting to chill.
Mushal did his best to curl his large body around her to keep her warm and laid down his head. The both of them slipped off into a much needed sleep.
