[11/20/10]
I met two odd Tauren in Silvermoon City, the home of the 'blood elves'. Odd that they would call themselves Blood Elves, as they are still High Elves at heart. Regardless, two Tauren were relaxing in the Royal Exchange of Silvermoon when I came upon them. They were quite aware despite their relaxation and were able to sense my presence in the shadows, and it only took them a few moments to overpower me. Despite the surprise, they were quite friendly. The male's name is Machk of the Grimtotem Tribe, and his mate is Sumiratana. Unfortunately, I was unable to find out her original tribe, though Machk assures me that she is very intelligent. It seems that she is just as I, prefering a form other than that of our Tauren, as I have only seen her as a feline.

I met a few old/new friends, and made a few new ones as well. Shariadune, a Tauren Druid I met in the Goblin city of Booty Bay, as well as the female Sumiratana that I had met last night. Shariadune still smelled of the sea as last I had remembered.
They were all in Un'Goro Crater, relaxing at the hot springs as I had intended to do. There were a few others as well; a male Troll named Jembah. I'm trying my best to understand his language, as it's an odd variety of Orcish. The other was a female Elf named Iressi, a rather quiet one. There was also a female Orc named Khazgral, quite a surprise to myself.
The Orc had me follow her, much to my initial dismay. Trusting an orc is not something that I've been known for, though she seemed different than most. She did not seem as aggressive as the Orcs of Durotar, and had an odd mechanical arm. For some reason, one that I am still unable to find, I followed her alone into the Wilds of the Un'Goro. She lead me to a small poll where she attempted to teach me to swim, though I managed to sink to the bottom of the shallows like I usually do; perhaps I shall try again tomorrow. Currently, they're speaking about a family they're affiliated with. Clan Dissension is what they had called it. It would be nice to be a part of a family, and Miss Shari'Adune expressed an interest in my joining their group.

[11/28/10]
Much has happened, none of it positive I'm afraid. The world has shattered, and it seems that the Black Dragon Aspect is the cause. It seems that Neltharion, or Deathwing as he refers to himself, has finally returned - his first appearance since the Second War. As he returned, somehow he managed to rend the planet itself - even now I can hear the trees cry out in pain, and it's been hours since my escape.
My escape... The second time my home was taken from me. I slept in my cave, soundly asleep in the heights of Ashenvale, the cinders of my fire keeping me warm. I do not even remember if I dreamed that night or not. At some hours of the evening, the world cried out in pain, throwing me from my cot to the ground. The noise alone was deafening, unlike anything I had ever heard before. Within moments, my cave began to crumble.
Only the light from the smoldering remains of my fire lit the room, and somehow in my panic I was able to shift to my bear form. I believe this was the only thing that saved me death at that time. The cave collapsed on top of me, knocking me once more to the floor, and threatening to crush me. It took all of my strength to push the rocks from my body, and begin digging my way out. Thankfully, my pack was beneath my bed and easily accessed if needed, such as that moment. Grabbing by pack and digging for my life, I spent what felt like a life time in the darkness, struggling to breathe with what little air was available.
Eventually, I could see light - distressing at first, considering it was night last I had remembered. Pushing my head through, I discovered that my cave was along the slope of a newly formed volcano. At the time, I hadn't a clue how this was possible, as escaping with my life was my first priority - lava was descending quickly down towards my cave. Not as dramatic as the stories I had read, I was able to escape with much time to spare, though I'm afraid that almost all of my belongings are either buried or burned by now. I found that my Kodo mount was buried in the initial quake, the poor soul crushed from the falling rocks.
The first thing I wanted to check on was my Tribe's home, though I knew if the destruction spread as far as Freewind Post, the Horde would be out in force, so I decided to make my way to the nearest settlement that welcomed me - Darkshore's Auberdine. My home was the least of my worries after wandering through Ashenvale; The Night Elves of Astranaar were in a panic from the massive quakes, quickly reinforcing their buildings to stop them from crumbling. I made my way to Darkshore, to find that it had been utterly destroyed...
The ground had been torn asunder, flames shot forth at some points in the forest. An enormous twister was visible in the distance, and as I sneaked closer, I beheld a sight that was frightening and awe inspiring all at once. A large Night Elf stood at the eye of the twister, controlling the raging winds. Though I stood many yards away, his eyes turned and stared straight into mine. I slowly began to creep further back into the forest, and he simply continued to watch, always controlling the twister. It was later that I was told it was the Great Malfurion Stormrage, whom I had thought still slept within the Emerald Dream.
Not long after, I came upon the ruins of what had once been Auberdine. Many years ago during the initial raid of the Burning Legion, the Night Elves had assisted our people, and I have had an admiration of them ever since. Unfortunately, I could not find a single living soul within the tattered remains of the town. On my way in, I had passed what appeared to be a refugee camp, though the guards took no chances and fired at me without warning.
In the town I found others that I knew, though they were not the Night Elves I had expected to encounter. Shari'Adune - the female Tauren, Sumiratana - the female Tauren, Rhome - The Male Tauren, and Iressi - the female Blood Elf were all in the center of the towns ruins, mourning the death of the elves. At first I had found it odd, though only for a few moments. In truth, it was rather comforting to find others to mourn with. We spent a short time searching for other survivors, and killed a few elemental summoners, though in the end we were unable to help anything at all. After a short while, a male Blood Elf - Catastrokon - came riding up to us. I was rather weary of him at first, as his eyes had an odd glow unlike those of his people, though Sumiratana called out to him, referring to him as her 'brother'. It was quite obvious he was a part of their Clan Dissension.
A while later, we parted ways and I made my way to my old home, hoping that the Horde hadn't spaced themselves out far enough to interfere. I found it just as I had left it; in the hands of the remnants of the Burning Legion. The quakes and devastation had not affected it. Since then, I have not had much happen, though I'm afraid I must find a new place to live now.
